In April, we held one of our many holiday programmes for young people with our friends at the Birchfield Big Local where we worked with brilliant Drama Leader Janaya Alcock. Janaya currently freelances on a number of exciting projects, including work with The Blue Orange Theatre in Hockley.

Janaya will be back with us later this month for our Half Term project Re-imagining Birchfield in which will explore the stories of the Birchfield area through music, drama and visual art – a unique project we’re really excited about!

This month, we’ll also be joined by the funky and innovative visual artist Naziah Angel. Self -employed under the name of ‘Angel Arts’, Angel (as she prefers to be known) is a qualified arts facilitator who has been working with schools and on bespoke projects for 15 years.
We’re looking forward to welcoming her to the project.
